Supporting Veterans on Campus with Mobile

Create Personalized Mobile-First Experiences for Your Campus - Modolabs

This and every Veterans Day, Modo is endlessly grateful for those who have served to protect and defend their fellow citizens from harm across the globe. The work of veterans often goes unnoticed or underappreciated; we at Modo stand in recognition and gratitude of veterans worldwide.

Modo also applauds customers using their campus and workplace app experiences to both recognize veterans and connect them with tailored resources to meet their needs. Here are some examples of Modo-powered apps featuring content for and about veterans:

The University of Southern Mississippi launched a brand new “USM Eagle Vet” app experience focused on resources, services, and information for student veterans at the university. Through this new experience, users can find student organizations, connect with on-campus service officers, access self-help resources, and much more.

This experience is available today in the iSouthernMiss app. You can read more in a press release from the university

In addition, Northern Arizona University added a section to their NAUGo app’s home screen thanking veterans for their service. They also sent a push notification to remind users of a live-streamed flag tribute and featured links to campus veteran resources and the tribute live stream in the app.

Finally, Maine Maritime Academy used their campus app to send multiple rich push notifications featuring their virtual Veterans Day celebration, including nudges to visit the student center to write a thank you note to Maine veterans, as well as invitations to share stories and remember those who have served.

Thank you from Modo to all those who have served, and our customers using their campus and workplace apps to recognize our veterans!
