The University of Houston was looking to supplement its code blue phones and safety boxes with personal technology for its students, faculty and staff, but was reluctant to introduce a new app or software that would reside outside of their Modo-powered digital campus experience. 

By diving deep into Modo’s XModule capabilities and collaborating across marketing, legal and security departments, the campus police and student ambassadors to identify needs and plan implementation, the University was able to create a resilient safety module using its own technology and partnering with Modo and get the capability into the hands of every student, staff and faculty member on campus.
