Our agile app building platform is the foundation for innovative digital experiences at scale for mobile, desktop and beyond
Part of the 17 schools in the University of North Carolina System, UNC Greensboro (UNCG) comprises close to 3,000 faculty and staff who serve about 20,000 students. Though UNCG had a student app in place, it was outdated and limited. The school was unable to customize or personalize the app, and found it difficult to integrate with other core technology, such as its Learning Management System (LMS). In fact, the app was designed to support only part of the student lifecycle.
With help from Modo, Todd Sutton, Associate Vice-Chancellor of Learning Technologies and Client Services for UNCG, was able to develop a platform equipped with custom integrations with core technology such as SIS and LMS, creating custom views and dashboards. The app caters to seven unique personas to accommodate UNCG’s diverse student body so users can see personalized information relevant to their needs, from the availability of resources such as laundry, study spaces, and parking to dining options across campus.
