Our agile app building platform is the foundation for innovative digital experiences at scale for mobile, desktop and beyond
The University of Central Florida (UCF), an emerging public research university with over 70,000 students, realized its existing mobile app was not meeting the needs of digital-first students. To satisfy its need for a new, modern, and robust mobile platform to better communicate with the UCF community, it chose Modo.
With Modo, UCF was able to evolve its all-in-one mobile campus app to better inform, engage, empower, elevate, and unify the digital campus experience. From location-based push notifications to real-time orientation and move-in day information, the UCF mobile app shifted focus to create value and drive high student adoption rates. The result was in over 250,000 downloads, 20 million page views per year, and a student adoption rate of 90% among freshmen and 84% among undergrads.
Seilhamer understands that the needs of students are constantly evolving. With the Modo platform, the UCF team can continue to elevate the digital campus experience and easily and cost-effectively deliver even more value using an easy to manage, agile platform that grows with changing institutional goals.
