Founded in 1855, top-ranked Penn State University comprises 24 campuses and a world campus online, and serves more than 725,000 students. The university launched its all-in-one mobile app, Penn State Go, in January 2020, in an effort to consolidate the many different apps and resources students needed to access, like Canvas, PeopleSoft, and email, and provide a single channel for campus communications — all in a single digital experience. 

Just over a year later, the Modo-powered Penn State Go app reached a milestone of more than 100,000 downloads, and included resources such as LionPATH, LionCash+, library services, academy advising, dining services, virtual events and more. Student, faculty and staff users have opened the app more than 4 million times, clicking through 15 million pages and external links. 71,000 app users have enabled push notifications to receive relevant, timely information.

Penn State Go is on track to deliver on Penn State’s mandate to offer students a seamless mobile experience in all interactions with the university by 2025.
