Position Description

As the Director of Product Marketing you will report to our CMO and will be responsible for the go-to-market strategy for our B2B Workplace and Modo Campus solutions including product lifecycle management, launch strategy and feature releases, market research, pricing, positioning and messaging, GTM plan and deliverables, sales enablement, and industry evangelism.

We are hiring a Director of Product Marketing who will lead our product lifecycle management including launches, feature releases, market research, pricing, and messaging.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver the go-to-market strategy and initiatives that drive business growth and align to company strategy and product roadmap.
  • Inform roadmap priorities based on market research, competitive analysis, and customer feedback.
  • Plan, build and execute product launch activities working cross functionally with product management stakeholders, product design, marketing and sales.
  • Be an expert on the trends, competitive landscape and provide positioning that differentiates the brand and value propositions that resonate with target audience.
  • Execute plans to drive demand, product adoption and revenue growth.
  • Oversee P&L and work with cross-functional teams to achieve revenue objectives.
  • Advise on sales motion and provide sales enablement tools to ensure superior market, product and competitive knowledge across Modo teams.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert and Modo spokesperson for the press and analysts relations, at industry and customer events and contribute thought leadership content for client presentations, blog posts, eBooks, case studies, webinars and more.
  • Establish a strong understanding of the solution and customer to present functionality and impact internally and externally.
  • Monitor and report go to market performance and relevant KPIs to ensure goals are being met.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in B2B software product marketing ideally in both the enterprise and higher ed industry (3 yrs or more as Sr Manager or above).
  • Extensive experience and a track record of strategizing and launching successful product marketing campaigns.
  • Domain knowledge in enterprise digital experience, SaaS/PaaS, and app building platforms. 
  • Proven experience analyzing competition, pricing, and industry trends and developing competitive messaging and positioning.
  • Track record of working with geographically dispersed, cross-functional teams.
  • Compelling storyteller and strong presenter with a strategic and analytical mindset who can engage and educate colleagues and customers.
  • Exceptional writing, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate in a fast paced environment, balancing both strategic and tactical responsibilities.
  • Adept at influencing peers and managers to build consensus.
  • Bachelor’s degree or related experience.
