Position Description

Modo labs is looking for an experienced and creative marketing director to lead our campaign strategy and to further our mission; to ensure anyone leading a next generation workplace or campus transformation will know that Modo’s platform makes it easy to fast track their digital campus and hybrid work strategy.

Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, this Director of Marketing Campaigns is focused on the strategy, development and execution of fully integrated and measurable campaigns that accelerate our business growth. You will be responsible to build end-to-end ABM and digital programs that targeted prospects, customers, and partners and build Modo’s brand reputation as the SaaS leader for delivering a workplace and campus digital experience. You will partner with sales and product marketing to develop compelling buyer journey strategies, value propositions and content, along with segment and audience-specific strategies and metrics that align to sales pipeline goals.


  • Manage and work with Digital Agency on campaign strategies, execution, and success metrics.
  • Develop measurement models for marketing programs across digital, ABM, and outbound/events marketing investments to drive sales growth, set targets for conversion rates and program spends.
  • Develop and deliver buyer-specific marketing strategies and tactical communications plans that address the unique needs of Enterprise and Higher Education targets, driving measurable engagement and conversions. 
  • Establish hybrid, virtual and in-person event strategy and develop plans that optimize resources and results. 
  • Drive brand expression and lead ongoing refinement of a clear, consistent, and differentiated value propositions and segment-specific messaging, test and evolve to maximize target buyer engagement.
  • Develop a campaign cross-channel content strategy and plans to position Modo as a must-must have over competitors and breaks through the noise of the crowded marketplace.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to establish quantitative proof-points and develop customer testimonials/case studies and visionary art-of-the-possible stories.
  • Advise on and evolve the processes through which marketing projects and leads flow between Sales and Marketing, including, marketing automation, events and program activation across owned and paid channels. 
  • Oversee programization of the corporate website (drive inbound) and orchestration with outbound campaigns to increase conversions.
  • Partner with Sales, Marketing co-workers and outside consultants/vendors on the development, delivery, and management of all aspects of campaigns and marketing activity.
  • Scope campaign and program projects and manage budget, planning, track results closely to optimize spend, advise on vendor and technology investments 
  • In partnership with CMO, Product Marketing and Sales Leadership, lead training of Sales organization on key initiatives such as value proposition and related acquisition/retention marketing strategies.
  • Monitor and optimize programs and generate reports to measures impact to pipeline and ROI.


  • 7+ years of experience in B2B strategic brand and demand gen marketing and communications.
  • Experience within higher education and/or enterprise markets is preferred. 
  • ABM and digital marketing proven success developing, implementing, and measuring ROI on investments.
  • Strong project management skills, working with cross functional teams and vendors to keep projects on track.
  • Exceptional writing and storytelling skills and experience in leading compelling buyer persona strategies.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal direction while also functioning as a team leader.
  • Excellent creative problem-solving skills, ability to prioritize, and manage time/budget 
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills and capacity to support claims with correlating data points in a compelling manner.
  • Solid knowledge of how digital marketing channels function, martech tools and best practices along with hands-on experience with HubSpot, SEO/SEM, Google Analytics and CRM software, and familiarity with web design.
  • Bachelor’s degree or related experience.
