  • Marketing Coordinator – Contract-to-Hire

    Join the marketing team at a fast-growing mobile app start-up in a contract-to-hire role focused on social and email marketing. The company is seeking a passionate self-starter to join a highly strategic and creative marketing team that drives the growth of the company through brand awareness, lead generation and more.

    In this position you’ll gain exposure to B2B marketing across higher education and enterprise as well as learn the ropes of today’s key marketing systems including Marketo and Salesforce.     Position Responsibilities

  • Marketing Specialist – Contract-to-Hire

    Join the marketing team at a fast-growing mobile app start-up in a contract-to-hire role focused on event management. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong attention to detail who is able to communicate effectively with a wide variety of people, including event speakers, sponsors and attendees.

    This role will manage logistics and promotion for Modo’s signature Kurogo Mobile Conference in June, as well as Modo’s participation in trade shows in the higher education and technology spaces. This is a unique opportunity for someone to own event management and grow in other marketing areas, such as advertising and social media management. In this position, you’ll gain exposure in B2B marketing across the enterprise and higher ed space. The first few months of this role will be heavily focused on event planning and coordination. Strong performance in this role will open opportunities to grow on this fast-paced, driven marketing team.


    Position Responsibilities
    • Manage external event logistics, including tradeshows and Modo’s signature Kurogo Mobile Conference
    • Coordinate events schedules, catering, set-up, and event participants
    • Execute on event outreach, including email campaigns, print media, and website
    • Develop a social media strategy for the Kurogo Conference and other trade show participation
    • Perform in a cross-functional environment, working closely on education and partnership initiatives
    • Manage lead generation strategies with PPC and ad placement
    • Execute on education campaigns related to lead generation and nurturing
    Qualifications and Experience
    • 2+ years experience event planning and management or marketing operations
    • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage across many priorities
    • Ability to work quickly and efficiently
    • Experience managing or supporting large events
    • PPC and ad placement experience
    • Experience with social media copywriting and content management

    Modo Labs is looking for an organized, smart, and creative person with strong communication skills to join our team as a Customer Support Specialist. This is a key role in our Client Services organization where you can learn a ton about mobile and help make a real difference every day for our great customers.

    The customer support specialist is a point person for assisting our existing clients – universities, companies, and hospitals – as they use our Kurogo mobile platform and its suite of software solutions.

    You will help clients find the appropriate answers to issues and problems via your knowledge of our software and by consulting with appropriate Modo Labs team members. You will provide guidance on the capabilities of our product and help customers use its tools and methods to achieve their goals. Finally, you will engage with customer representatives to understand their needs, in order to develop sales opportunities and drive future product features.

    An interest in mobile technology is a bonus, as is experience in a similar role in a product-based software company. You will need a willingness to learn, to work hard, and to be flexible.

  • Enterprise Account Executive – Central US Region

    Modo Labs is looking for a top performing software sales representative with demonstrated experience selling software and technology solutions to the Enterprise market.

    Job responsibilities for this position include: prospecting, qualifying opportunities, delivering a compelling technology-rich value proposition, proposal creation, and closing deals within Enterprise accounts.  Success in this role will be defined by achieving quarterly and annual sales targets.

    • Achieve annual sales goals through the direct sale of mobile software solutions to prospects and customers in assigned territory
    • Identify high potential sales opportunities through aggressive prospecting and thorough qualification
    • Understand and articulate the Modo Labs value proposition to business and technology stakeholders within prospective client organizations
    • Lead contract negotiations, including pricing, product mix and terms
    • Communicate regularly with VP of Sales, providing accurate and timely sales forecasts, and maintaining accurate and timely records in Salesforce.com
    • Work closely with business development representatives to continuously seed territory and build pipeline to ensure quarterly and annual sales targets are met
    • Work collaboratively with solution engineers, delivery and support teams, to ensure all aspects of pre-sales, delivery and post-sale are being worked at highest levels of performance and client satisfaction
    • Be a team player in every sense
    • Provide ongoing competitive market and client feedback to the company to help drive continuous improvement of sales team, service delivery, product development and company strategy
    • 8+ years prospecting, qualifying, developing, and closing software and/or services business in the Enterprise space
    • Demonstrated track record of performance relative to assigned goals
    • Experience selling enterprise software solutions directly to Fortune 1000 Enterprise clients
    • General understanding of key technology concepts required to sell complex solutions to technical stakeholders
    • Ability to clearly understand and articulate business issues and how Modo Labs software and services can help solve Enterprise clients' business and technical challenges
    • Ability to gain access to and negotiate with senior management/C-level executives
    • Strong verbal, written and presentation skills including expertise with Microsoft Office (Email, Word, Powerpoint, Excel)
    • Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment team
    • Mobile application software and/or services experience preferred
    • BA/BS or equivalent
    • Ability to travel as required
