  • Customer Support Specialist

    Modo Labs, Inc. – Newburyport, MA

    Modo Labs is looking for an organized, smart, and creative person with strong communication skills to join our team as a Customer Support Specialist. This is a key role in our Client Services organization where you can learn a ton about mobile and help make a real difference every day for our great customers.

    The customer support specialist is a point person for assisting our existing clients – universities, companies, and hospitals – as they use our Kurogo mobile platform and its suite of software solutions.

    You will help clients find the appropriate answers to issues and problems via your knowledge of our software and by consulting with appropriate Modo Labs team members. You will provide guidance on the capabilities of our product and help customers use its tools and methods to achieve their goals. Finally, you will engage with customer representatives to understand their needs, in order to develop sales opportunities and drive future product features.

    An interest in mobile technology is a bonus, as is experience in a similar role in a product-based software company. You will need a willingness to learn, to work hard, and to be flexible.

    Position Responsibilities
    • Triage requests from existing customers
    • Escalate serious issues to the appropriate team within Modo Labs
    • Provide information about our product offerings as they relate to a client’s needs
    • Help to build a database of common questions and answers to share with our customers
    • Create processes, procedures and documentation to scale our support organization
    • Train customers on products and features

  • Enterprise Account Executive – Central US Region

    Modo Labs is looking for a top performing software sales representative with demonstrated experience selling software and technology solutions to the Enterprise market.

    Job responsibilities for this position include: prospecting, qualifying opportunities, delivering a compelling technology-rich value proposition, proposal creation, and closing deals within Enterprise accounts.  Success in this role will be defined by achieving quarterly and annual sales targets.

    Responsibilities
    • Achieve annual sales goals through the direct sale of mobile software solutions to prospects and customers in assigned territory
    • Identify high potential sales opportunities through aggressive prospecting and thorough qualification
    • Understand and articulate the Modo Labs value proposition to business and technology stakeholders within prospective client organizations
    • Lead contract negotiations, including pricing, product mix and terms
    • Communicate regularly with VP of Sales, providing accurate and timely sales forecasts, and maintaining accurate and timely records in Salesforce.com
    • Work closely with business development representatives to continuously seed territory and build pipeline to ensure quarterly and annual sales targets are met
    • Work collaboratively with solution engineers, delivery and support teams, to ensure all aspects of pre-sales, delivery and post-sale are being worked at highest levels of performance and client satisfaction
    • Be a team player in every sense
    • Provide ongoing competitive market and client feedback to the company to help drive continuous improvement of sales team, service delivery, product development and company strategy
    Qualifications
    • 8+ years prospecting, qualifying, developing, and closing software and/or services business in the Enterprise space
    • Demonstrated track record of performance relative to assigned goals
    • Experience selling enterprise software solutions directly to Fortune 1000 Enterprise clients
    • General understanding of key technology concepts required to sell complex solutions to technical stakeholders
    • Ability to clearly understand and articulate business issues and how Modo Labs software and services can help solve Enterprise clients' business and technical challenges
    • Ability to gain access to and negotiate with senior management/C-level executives
    • Strong verbal, written and presentation skills including expertise with Microsoft Office (Email, Word, Powerpoint, Excel)
    • Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment team
    • Mobile application software and/or services experience preferred
    • BA/BS or equivalent
    • Ability to travel as required

  • Inside Sales Representative

    Modo Labs is looking for a top inside software sales representative with demonstrated experience selling software and technology solutions to the Enterprise market.

    Job responsibilities for this position include: prospecting, cold calling, qualifying opportunities, delivering a compelling technology-rich value proposition, and articulating the benefits of joining an open source community to clients. Success in this role is defined by achieving sales and key metrics targets on a monthly and quarterly basis. We are a venture backed start up and there are significant opportunities for growth.

    Responsibilities
    • Play a vital role in sales pipeline growth through generation of Qualified Sales Opportunities within assigned territory.
    • Proactively respond to individuals who have requested information regarding our solutions.
    • Execute email and/or calling campaigns to initiate contact with suspects and prospects, creating initial interest and positioning Modo Labs services and solutions
    • Gather potential client requirements and present key service/solution selling points, features and benefits.
    • Understand and articulate the Modo Labs value proposition to business and technology stakeholders within the prospective client organization
    • Conduct initial prospect qualification including; needs identification, budget determination, project execution timeframe, and decision maker identification
    • Work with outside sales and Modo technical team to coordinate sales activities
    • Maintain record of activities with leads and opportunities within Modo CRM software program
    Qualifications
    • 2+ years of inside sales experience
    • Demonstrated ability to sell software and solutions over the phone
    • Internet savvy and experience with MS Office.
    • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
    • Pleasant phone manner; respectful but assertive.
    • Tenacious at calling and reaching IT and Business executives.
    • Metrics driven and willing/able to sustain a high level of activity in order to achieve assigned goals.
    • Persistent, able to overcome obstacles and desire to continuously improve skills.
    • Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment team.
